Attention Residents:
Midwest Paving intends to start surface milling on 4th Street tomorrow and then will move to 10th Street. They will also be paving the surface lift on the Street Repairs contract tomorrow. If time allows they will fall back to 4th Street and start paving behind the mill there as well. Midwest asks there be no parking on the street through the beginning of next week if possible.

Good morning, Frankton-Lapel Families,
In the middle of the night, I and other superintendents received an email that made a bomb threat against our schools. Our team has been working on this situation since early this morning. While we do not have any reason to believe the threat is credible at this time, we of course are not willing to risk the
safety of our students and staff. For that reason, we called an e-learning day, today on Friday, April 14th. Our team will spend today working with our local law enforcement and other appropriate agencies to further investigate this threat and ensure the safety of every one of our schools.
We apologize for the short notice and appreciate your support and understanding as we continue to work hard to keep our schools, staff and children safe.
Dr. Sterling Boles
FLCS Superintendent

According to a recent post on “The Station’s” Facebook page the restaurant will begin serving lunch and dinner, daily in the not too distant future. According to our count that makes The Station lucky number seven in the sit-down restaurant count for Lapel.
More details to follow as we research the menu and hours of operation.
