Breaking News: 18-Year-Old Arrested in Connection with Homicide at Anderson Café
An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Dayla Swain at Sonny Ray’s Cafe “Boo’s Place” in Anderson, Indiana. Rashawn Darrius Samuels was taken into custody on suspicion of committing the crime, which occurred on February 2nd. In addition to the murder charge, Samuels is also facing a charge of reckless homicide.
According to authorities, Samuels may not have acted alone, with multiple persons of interest still being pursued by detectives. “The investigation remains ongoing. Other persons of interest are being actively pursued by detectives,” said Major Caleb McKnight of the Anderson Police Department.
