The Agenda for the August 17th Town Meeting has been made available on the Town of Lapel website.

Town Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday for construction. Payments can be made at the drop box or online. Should you have a gas or water emergency please call 765-534-3157 to report it.

Phones will be transferred to the oncall service that can dispatch crews for emergency calls, unfortunately the oncall service does not have access to account information and will be unable to answer questions regarding bills.

We hope to return to the office on Monday when construction is complete we apologize for any inconvenience to our customers.

Best Way is still delivering recycle bins, they ran out of lids and are waiting for the supply to arrive then they will continue with delivery.

Good news! We had a meeting with Best Way this morning and bins will start being delivered Monday, they will start with the trash bin delivery and then later deliver recycle bins.

If your household requires more than one trash or recycle bin please contact Best Way at 765-649-7272 to set up that service with them.

Best Way will continue to offer 2 heavy trash pick ups per year in May and October, and should you need an item removed you can call 765-649-7272 to set up a date for pick up at a $50 minimum charge.

We have just been notified by Best Way that delivery and assembly of new trash bins will begin next week they have had a delay in shipping. Trash pick up curb side of bags will be Friday and the dumpster at the shop on Vine Street will continue until bins are delivered. Please keep in mind the dumpster is for bagged trash items not heavy disposal. Heavy disposal items fill the dumpster quickly and does not allow for residents to dispose of bagged trash.
