UPDATE: LKQ Proposal (Special Use)
The next BZA meeting is on October 30, 2023

Dear Lapel residents,

During the last BZA public meeting on October 9, 2023, the BZA continued the review of the LKQ’s Special Use application to the next meeting on October 30, 2023, at the Lodge (818 Main Street, Lapel, IN) at 6 p.m

The minutes from the September 18th Board of Zoning Appeals meeting are now available on the Town of Lapel website.

Meeting dates and times:

Lapel Redevelopment Commission October 26, 2023 6pm at Lapel Eagles.

Lapel Town Council October 26, 2023 7pm at Lapel Eagles.

Meetings were rescheduled due to fall break.

HEAVY TRASH PICK UP
Heavy trash pick up will be Friday October 6, 2023. Please set out your heavy trash items on Thursday night the 5th. Best Way Disposal will be in town very early to start pick up.

Rules for Heavy Trash:

Please wrap any furniture or mattresses in plastic.

If throwing away carpet please have it cut in 4 ft sections and rolled up. Not more than 50 lbs please.

The Agenda for the Town Council Regular Meeting on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 7 PM at the Eagles Club Meeting Room located at 110 East Ninth Street, Lapel, IN 46051 is now available on the Town of Lapel website.

ATTENTION RESIDENTS:

State Road 13 just north of State Road 38 will be closed for 60 days for bridge work starting Monday September 18th.
