A great big THANK YOU to the Lapel Jr High 8th graders for coming out today for volunteering for a Community Day. They did a great job at our Parks and helped others around town. It’s great that these young people want to help our community. Thanks again and good luck as Freshman!

Attention trash customers: If you left furniture out for heavy trash pick up, for example, mattresses or couches and they did not get picked up Best Way said if you will wrap them in plastic they will come back Monday morning May 13, 2024 and pick them up. They must be wrapped in plastic.

Just a reminder Friday, May 3rd is Heavy Trash Pickup.
Here is the list of do’s and dont’s!

Furniture items need to be wrapped in plastic
No liquid paint/materials
No TV’s, electronics, or any items that has or had freon in them
No yard waste
Carpet needs to be cut/tied in four foot sections and weight no more than 50lbs
