Pavement rehabilitation work on State Road 13 near Lapel is entering its final phase next week. Currently, the intersection of S.R. 13 and S.R. 38 is closed, with plans to reopen by Thursday, August 21, weather permitting.

Starting on or after Monday, August 18, S.R. 13 will be closed between S.R. 38 and County Road W. 400 S in Lapel. This closure is expected to last through the end of September and marks the final phase of the pavement rehabilitation project.

Built on a sturdy 2000 Freightliner FL‑80 chassis with a custom S&S Infinity body, this robust tanker is designed to handle challenging terrain and deliver water when it’s needed most.
