With a combined total of over 174 years of fire service to our community, these remarkable individuals have made an indelible mark on our history. We recognize:
Jeff Passwater, who has served for 47 years and previously held the position of Fire Chief
Bill Sears, an active member with 37 years of service, holding the highest seniority
Mike Lawther, who has dedicated 41 years to our department, holding numerous officer and chief positions
Bill Pape, with an impressive 49 years of service, having also held multiple officer and chief positions
Throughout their careers, these individuals have responded to thousands of emergency calls, donated countless hours, and built a lasting legacy that continues to influence our department’s values and mission. Their unwavering commitment to our community is a testament to their character and a source of inspiration for our current firefighters.
