A 14-Year-Old Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle in Anderson

A 14-year-old has died after being hit by a vehicle on Tuesday night in Anderson, Indiana. According to the Anderson Police Department, officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian in the 100 block of S. Scatterfield Road at approximately 11:12 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the 14-year-old pedestrian at the scene and determined that the teen was in the roadway when struck by a vehicle traveling southbound. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
